THINK Global School is pleased to announce that world-renowned researcher Hans Rosling will deliver a public lecture on Wednesday, 6 October, at 19:00 at Cirkus in Stockholm. Rosling will discuss current economical, social and environmental changes and trends on a global scale.
Rosling is Professor of International Health at Karolinska Institute and Director of the Gapminder Foundation. Rosling is well known for his visual, animated representations of data using the Trendalyzer software system developed by his Gapminder foundation. His presentations on economic development, agriculture, poverty and health in Africa, Asia and Latin America are rooted in data, facts and statistics, yet his thought-provoking delivery is entertaining and often humorous. His presentations invite the audience to question so-called “accepted facts” and instead think critically about our world. His presentations are deemed “humorous, yet deadly serious” as he reveals data that shatter preconceived notions and antiquated paradigms.
This public lecture is organized by THINK Global School. Tickets are available free of charge, however, cancellations on or after 1 October are subject to a service fee of 100 kr. The lecture will be in English.
