Macbeth review – ADG Europe presents TNT theatre Britain performance in Stockholm

Macbeth review

It’s always a pleasure to be able to see an English Shakespearean production in a non-English-speaking country and once again the American Drama Group doesn’t leave us disappointed. What they achieve in Macbeth with their limited props, costume and scenography as they travel around Europe is ingenious and well thought-through.

Each production brings some new aspect to its own interpretation and this time left me wondering why  they depicted King Duncan as blind.  Whatever the case, the acting by the six actors, having to double-up at the very least, was more than competent with special praise to Kelly Grifiths who made a formidable Lady Macbeth. — Angela Barnett-Lindberg
