Is Sweden’s coronavirus strategy more psychologically sutainable?

A key argument made by Sweden’s public health agency in favour of its coronavirus strategy that avoids tougher restrictions is that it will be more straightforward to maintain in the long term, but how long will the Swedish public be able to cope mentally with their new reality?

Radio Sweden spoke to Halmstad University’s Karin Weman Josefsson, whose research focuses on motivation psychology, to find out if one approach could be more psychologically sustainable than the other.
